I design it, then I build it.

Hi, I'm Amy. I'm a senior product designer who's spent the last 9 years designing products people actually use, from FDA-cleared surgical software to conversational AI.

Most recently, I was UX/UI Design Lead at ALSAC / St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, where I led design across 8 internal fundraising products. I drove 0-to-1 design on Hope, a conversational AI agent that reached 65% call deflection in four months. I also pitched and led a platform rebuild that powers more than $650M in fundraising and built two design systems from scratch. These days, I spend just as much time building as I do designing. I prototype in code every day with Claude Code and Cursor, and recently designed and built a production-ready platform for a small business client in Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Supabase. Every page on this site is custom code I wrote myself.

Outside of work, you'll usually find me hiking with my dogs Honey and Max, throwing pottery on the wheel, or catching live music around San Francisco.
